Pathology Testing for Perimenopause
Natural Menopause Mastery Package
General medical testing can sometimes be limited. This is why, during one-on-one consultations in my Naturopathic clinic, I request additional laboratory tests.
The following are the most common tests I will request for my perimenopause clients. I find these to be the most comprehensive tests that provide ample information to refine treatment protocols and accelerate healing.
DUTCH test
The DUTCH, or Dried Urine Test for Comprehensive Hormones, is the most comprehensive hormone test available in Australia. It is non-invasive and accurate, assessing sex hormones and their metabolism. The results indicate underlying imbalances associated with PMS, sleeplessness, anxiety, and other symptoms accompanying perimenopause.
Complete Microbiome Mapping
This comprehensive stool test helps identify imbalances in the digestive tract’s microbiome, pathogenic influences, or immune system triggers for digestive symptoms. Microbiome mapping also plays a key role in identifying imbalances in the estrobolome or the beneficial flora required for oestrogen balance, especially during perimenopause.
Vaginal Microbiome Test
The complex ecosystem of microorganisms within the vagina can be disrupted during perimenopause, causing discomfort and irritation. This Vaginal Microbiome test is beneficial for identifying imbalances within the flora of the vagina, especially those associated with bacterial vaginosis and candida.
Urinary Tract Test
Urinary Tract Infections can be complicated and uncomfortable. This test identifies possible pathogenic influences on the microflora of the urinary tract, which some women can become susceptible to during their menopausal transition.
Please note that only one of these tests will be included in the Natural Menopause Mastery Package. If you wish to add any of these tests to your existing treatment protocol, please contact us directly.
